The national day rally has just been broadcasted. Although I am sure that our PM had lots of interesting things to announce to the citizens of this country, I am ambivalent. I am apathetic. I am disenchanted. Good news will be welcomed and for bad news…whatever…
And as for Botak Jones. Has anyone else caught their radio commercials? I really hate that American drawl promoting the chain. I find it pretentious and truly off-putting and the script is too smart alecky. Sigh…I think I have a lot of angst in me.
The Botak Jones stall is the one with the blue signboard. A huge queue had formed for lunch.

Something good about the place was the easy access to the condiments.

I think this is the Swanky Franky (S$9.50). It is a hot dog wrapped in bacon and covered with melted cheddar.

This is the Cajun Chicken Burger set meal (S$7.50). It wasn’t bad. Thinking about the commercial left a unpleasant taste in my mouth though.

Sorry you don’t like the radio ads. Not trying to be pretentious, just being myself but on radio. Glad you like the food. Try not to imagine the ads while you’re eating though, don’t want anyone getting ill over them.

hahaha…yup. I will try to shut out thoughts of the radio ads. But don’t need to bother about my comments on the ads though. I have a feeling I am in the minority on this.
