Everyone is doing ice cream nowadays. It is the yuppie (does anyone use this term nowadays?) dream.
“lawyer opens ice cream outlet”
“bunch of friends come up with ice cream venture”
“buddies invest in ice cream business”
The attraction of these ice cream outlets is that they make their own ice cream and are thus able to create new, unique flavours.

So here is us gorging on their various types (each scoop costs around S$3 plus):

Rum & Raisin Ice Cream with Waffle - the distinct taste of alcohol is strong
Chendol (my choice) - bears resemblance to the the traditional coconut based local dessert
Butterscotch Pecan - a more typical flavour available. Tasted very rich with a buttery aftertaste.
Cempedak - tasted akin to Jack Fruit. I have never been a fan of the fruit though
Mango Magic - tasted like Mango. I have never been a fan of ths fruit also (I am not a fruit person)
Bailey’s Choc Chip - another alcoholic concoction.
Chilli Chocolate - Not available on display, you have to ask for it. A very unique blend. At first bite the taste of chocolate is prevalent. As the chocolate slides down your throat, the chilli flavour comes through. It tingles the throat and a wave of spice is released back into the mouth. I think it is an acquired taste.
A totally sinful afternoon. Need to exercise.
