Damn. Having delightfully sinful ice cream two meals in a row. First was ice cream at The Daily Scoops. Now at the Ice Cream Chefs. I think fate is conspiring against me. My waistline is growing, I am getting flabby and yet I am stuffing myself with food…sigh.

On the topic of waistlines, I had an epiphany recently. I think I may have solved the mystery of why old men like to wear their trousers/pants high up their bodies (i.e. they pull their trousers beyond their waistline line towards their chest). Nowadays when I check myself out in the mirror, it is inescapable that my gaze is drawn to my growing belly. A natural compulsion to hitch my shorts higher so as to cover my belly overcomes me. I usually succumb to this urge. The sad fact is that even though my shorts are now higher than they were supposed to be (I am effectively giving myself a slight wedgie), I feel comfortable with the look…arrrgghhh.

Ok….I may have shared too much information.
So at Ice Cream Chef, you choose the flavour (one scoop for S$3.10 I think) and indicate the additional ingredients (each addition costs S$0.70, I think) you want mixed in. The Ice Cream Chef would then proceed to cook the ice cream with the ingredients on a slab of stone.

I had the Nutella Ice Cream with Marshmallow & hot fudge chocolate.

My friend had the Mrs Smith (some apple mix) with nuts as the addons.
