The day of J’s departure. Lunch at our regular Buffet Dim Sum restaurant was hastily arranged at 2am in the morning by Sky.

At S$10.80 on weekdays and S$13.80 on weekends, this was for “all you can eat” dim sum and assorted dishes.

I apologise for the following pictures that do not seem to contain much food items. I arrived late and the guys were obviously hungry.

They did try to serve on me the below item which they had attempted to classify as the Siew Mai. If it was indeed Siew Mai, it had mutated beyond recognition. This was Siew Mai that had tried to drown itself in the waters of a particularly radioactive lake, hauled itself out after its suicide failure and thereafter started a reign of terror by appearing now and then at the neighbouring town.
As it turned out, Sky had got the orders wrong due to some slight miscommunication with the waitress. This had led to the tragedy of the gang having to gag on the mutated Siew Mai during lunch.

Mistaked spotted, we had the real Siew Mai served. They were the usual shade of, erm, bright yellow skin with luminous red dots sprinkled on top.

Lunch completed, we headed out for some coffee and chill out. It was a subdued period for everybody.
J flew off to pursue his dreams that night. The rest of the gang stayed behind. Will the gang disperse as a result. I don’t know. We sorta have an unwilling new leader in Sky.

To J, we will be here as and when you want to watch EPL, play mahjong or start our Atomic Bomberman tournament. At last count, I am still the reigning Bomberman champion..heh heh heh.

Is the tim sum over there nice? Have been wanting to try it. How’s the variety like?

The keyword here for the restaurant is price. So don’t expect exquisite tim sum dishes. I would say the place is perfect for ns guys with enormous appetites and thin wallets.
