My boss treated me to dinner at this rather nice Korean restaurant. The necessary hallmarks that this place served good food was there. Korean expatriates, check. Korean waitresses, check. Korean manager, check.

Korean style service where they cook your BBQ food for you, check. None of that self service crap.
We of course had the meat set - marinated beef and chicken. It was excellent stuff. Made more so that we did not have to expend any energy in cooking it.

Hot plate eel with potent rice wine was also on the cards.

Spicy Korea Tofu Broth with Chicken.

And all the assorted side dishes (they come complimentary with every main dish that is ordered)!

We finished the whole lot. I love food.

hi george! I try to make it a point to put prices of the food that I eat. Similar to you, budget is a big concern for me..hahahaha
on this occasion, my boss took the bill. Thus I was not able to check out the final prices. But from the menu, the normal dishes range between S$15 ~ 20. The bbq dish was around S$25~30 if I recall correctly.
