I think I understand what you are getting at. I hate people giving me the encouragement "come on...you can do it! Try harder" when I am already putting in what I deem as good effort. Really pisses me off.. Yup, so point taken.

However, I do not appreciate being called an idiot on the basis of my comment. but i am chill = )

why ask people to chill. just sharing experiences. not as if poster is dancing up and down or what. nonsense. chill waht chill. idiot. asking people to chill when people ARE chill just pisses people off. you think someone typing in front of the computer a few days after eating in a restaurant is not 'chill'?
you can't sense anyone's frustrations. you just acting like you give a crap. chill yourself.

wow, cyg, can sense your frustration. Chill dude. When I was there, the wait was very long too. Although, my expectations were quite lowered because I had expected "coffee-shop" service based on the environment ...heh

The service provided by them is not the greatest despite being a restaurant. With such a grand design and nice ambiance, you would expect them to have a service on par. But sadly that is not true.

I visited the place on Saturday to try the food on recommendation. But was treated with horror. The waitress and waiter didn’t really listens or bother with what we told them. I had ask the waitress to serve the dishes at 715 pm as when I book the table I was told if was fully book at 8pm and we had to leave by then. At 715pm I reminded the waitress to start serving the dishes. We only received the 1st dish at around 725pm 10min late and when we finish the 1st dish the 2nd dish was not even out. Our main dish of Butter crab and Sambal crab was no where in sight.

At around 740pm I tried to ask the waitress to serve the crabs 1st in case we were chase out at 8pm. When all of our side dish of coffee Ribs, Vegetable with scallops, chicken and seafood fried rice was served. The crabs was no where in sight and it was already 800pm. we waited a while and when to ask the waitress if the crab is ready. We were told soon. We waited another 15 min and still no sign of the crabs.

We had to wait around 1hr 15min before we had a chance to savor our crabs. Yes the crabs do leave up to their reputation as GOOD minus the sambal crab which we had extra “spice” of hairs. When we show one of the staff dress in casual collar-t he had wanted to change the plate for us and composite with desert but we were in a rush. So the guy told us that he will make it up to us in another way.

Overall, the butter crab was extremely Good so was the chicken, But the service is bad really bad. At times it feels like eating at a hawker centre more like than at a restaurant. The price does not make up for the bad service even though the food is good. Although we were given a discount for the “hair” incident, it does not really make up for the bad service. When we were leaving the restaurant there was no apologizes for the bad service, only a sarcastic remark “Ok you come back next time, I will treat you movie”.( we had to miss our movie for the food ) ….
